Margaret L. Starr

1958 — 2017

Margaret L. Starr, 59, of Portsmouth, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Margaret was born February 22, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan a daughter of the late Marcus and Nadine Branham Maynard. Margaret was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Starr; two sisters, Annette Robinette, and Daphanie Maynard; brother, Jessie Maynard.

Survivors include, one daughter, Melissa Starr of Portsmouth, Ohio; Three sisters, Pat Nordick of Wadsworth, Ohio; Alice Church of Sellsville, Ohio; and Iris Gerber of Rittman, Ohio; two brothers, Lewis Maynard of Grafton, Ohio; and Curtis Maynard of Wooster, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her very much.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, July 31, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel
