Nancy Lou Chafin 

1944 — 2017

Nancy Lou Chafin 73 of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday May 22, 2017 following a brief illness.

Nancy was born Feb. 1, 1944 at Aflex, KY the daughter of the late James and Juanita Armstrong Lambert. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Troy Edward Chafin who died in 2013. Nancy was a homemaker and of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Anita (Greg) Hatfield of Beckley, WV and Allison (Mark) Hooser of Daniels, WV; two sisters, Bonnie Crigger of Danville, KY and Shelia (Jim) Henson of Chattaroy,WV; two brothers, Don (Thelma) Lambert of Forrest Hills, KY and Ted (Wanda) Lambert of Fort Gay, WV; three grandchildren, Teddy (Krista) Lambert, Brad (Becca) Hatfield, and Blake Hooser; four great grandchildren Raegan Lambert, Ashton Lambert, Ava Hatfield, and Emma Hatfield; a special friend Carolyn Sue Napier.

Funeral services will be held on Friday May 26th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Crigger officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memory Gardens at Belfrey, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Gideons International P.O. Box 97251 Washington, DC 20090.

Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
