WOMACK CHARGED WITH FIVE FELONIES BY WAYNE SHERIFF

WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT:

5/16/2017

Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson announced an arrest made in the Westmoreland area of Wayne County. The WCSD Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant after making a controlled buy of Crystal Methamphetamine from a residence on Auburn Road.

The Sheriff, along with deputies seized drugs, a shotgun, and paraphernalia for distributing drugs.

Taylor WomackTaylor Womack was arrested and charged with five felonies. Womack, who is currently on probation, is charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Conspiracy, Pseudoephedrine in an Altered State, Cultivation and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Sheriff Thompson said he appreciated the assistance of the US Marshals Cuffed Task Force. He also complimented the Wayne County Drug Enforcement Unit on another successful warrant execution.
