Owners threaten to kill agents from bank

(WSAZ) Federal agents raided Fannin Motors today. They are putting locks on the doors. Documents say that the owners, Gary and Chris Fannin owe B,B&T Bank nearly $18 million dollars.
Then when the bank tried to get its money back, the Fannin’s threatened to kill the agents from the bank.
Now the Feds are trying to find all the Fannin’s personal assets which were supposed to be the collateral on the loan…things like an extensive gun collection, coin collection and cars. Feds, wearing bullet proof vests entered into the business on Route 60 this morning.
And this is the family which annually closed their entire business so that the Paramount Arts Center could hold a huge gala fundraiser at the dealership.
As reported by Rob Johnson on WSAZ this morning
