‘Tattoo Bill’ Hall and grandson Jaxon win regionals

Two members of CrossFit Louisa, Bill Hall, 61 and Jaxon Johnson, 15 are among the Central East Region’s Fittest.
Athletes in the region compete to earn their place in the 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games, an internationally recognized event that seeks to find “The Fittest on Earth”.
Hall and Johnson recently participated in the “CrossFit Open” where they competed with hundreds of thousands of athletes in five workouts over five weeks, qualifying them to compete in the CrossFit Central East Regionals.
Tattoo Bill Hall, AKA “Tattoo Coach”, a coach at CrossFit Louisa, finished 1st in Kentucky and 87th worldwide in the 60+ division. Johnson finished 4th in Kentucky and 168th worldwide in the teens 14-15 year old division.
Central East Regional will be May 26-28 when the live event takes place in Nashville TN.
For the majority of athletes…. the age divisions from like 18-40, or so. But. The Masters Divisions (old guys and gals) and the teens divisions all over the world just completed theirs in house at their home box (that’s what CrossFit calls a gym). So. Our guys. Completed their event in house at the Crossfit Gym next to the LVFD with a Qualified judge and turned in the scores online.
