Sheila Lynn McGranahan

1966 — 2017

Sheila Lynn McGranahan, 50, of Louisa, Kentucky passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital after an extended illness.

Sheila was born May 15, 1966 in Wooster, Ohio a daughter of Ruby Newsome Watts and the late Elmer Watts. Sheila was a homemaker. In addition to her father, Elmer Watts, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rick McGranahan.

Survivors include, one daughter, Callie McGranahan of Louisa, Kentucky; mother, Ruby Watts of Fort Gay, WV; sister, Ruby Ann Watts of Fort Gay, WV; brothers, Elmer (Sally) Watts of West Liberty, KY.; David (Angel) Watts of Fort Gay, WV; mother in law and father in law, Tina and Charles McGranahan of Louisa, Kentucky; and Sheila’s couch buddy, Danielle Watts.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the nursing staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital and to a very special friend, Candi.

Funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Crum officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Louisa, Kentucky.

Visitation will be 6-9 pm Friday, April 7, 2017 at Young Funeral Home.
