1951 — 2017

Patricia A. White, 66, wife of the late John A. White, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 19th in Berryville, VA.

Born March 14, 1951 in Marietta, OH to Robert and the late Arlene Stephens Armstrong, Pat was a graduate of Louisa High School, class of 1969, and enjoyed living in and exploring the areas around homes throughout the U.S from South Carolina to Maine. A lifelong reader, writer, pet lover and foodie, she loved to share her love of learning and a life time of great meals with her family.

She is survived by her son John A. White II and his wife Lori, Holly Springs, NC; daughter Heather Swartz and her husband Joe, Bluemont, VA; Grandchildren Isabella and Vivian, Holly Springs and Rockwell, Hayden, Eva, and Caleb, Bluemont. She is also survived by her father, Robert Armstrong and brother Mike Armstrong and his wife Toni, Louisa, KY.

At Pat’s request, no services will be held. Memorials may be made to the Lawrence County (KY) Public Library, 102 W. Main St. Louisa, KY 41230.
