Phyllis Jean Perkins

1937 — 2017

Phyllis Jean Perkins, 79, of Louisa, KY passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Three Rivers Medical Center following a brief illness.  Phyllis was born July 27, 1937 in Blaine, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Henry and Mable Dean.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Perkins.  Survivors include three sons, Henry (Debbie) Perkins of Westerville, OH, Bob (Judy) Perkins also of Westerville, OH, and Rodney (Lisa) Perkins of Louisa, KY, four grandchildren, Lori, Paige, Travis, and Jared.  

Mrs. Perkins was a cook for 22 years for the Lawrence County Board of Education and a member of Smokey Valley Enterprise Baptist Church. 

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 2:00pm at Wilson Funeral Home with Reverend Doug Kelly officiating.  Burial will follow in Yatesville Memorial Gardens.  

Friends may visit the family Tuesday, March 14, 2017 between the hours of 5pm and 7pm at Wilson Funeral Home.  Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
