Lawrence Co. Select 9 and 10 year olds
Olive Hill, Ky. — On Saturday afternoon at Tygart Creek Elementary the Lawrence Co. Select 9 and 10 year old basketball team won the West Carter Saturday league championship 40-19 over Raceland. LC avenged their only loss of the season against Raceland in the title game.
Lawrence Co. finished 7-1 on the year.
The team of 3rd and 4th Graders traveled to Olive Hill on Saturdays to compete in the league which is made up of teams from West Carter, East Carter, Raceland, Ashland and Greenup Co.
