Mace D. Muncy

1933 – 2017

Mace D. Muncy, 83 of Argillite, Kentucky passed away at Oakmont Manor in Flatwoods on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

She was born in Louisa n April 29, 1933 to the late John R. and Grace Short-Muncy.

Ms. Muncy was a homemaker.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Larna Laws; one sister Mary Jane Marcum and one brother Claggett Marcum.

She leaves behind one son George Phillip Johnson of Zanesville, Ohio; two sisters Naoma Brown of Argillite and Celia Edgell of Ashland; three brothers James Marcum, Delbert Marcum and Clem Marcum all of Louisa as well as five grandchildren and many extended family members and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the New Friendship Church in Inez under the direction of Young Funeral Home in Louisa, burial will follow at the Short Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 6-8 pm.
