Wilkie Napier

1942 – 2016

Wilkie Napier, 74, of Fort Gay, West Virginia passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky.

Wilkie was born July 16, 1942 in Jolo, West Virginia, a son of the late Elzie and Ella Napier, he was a retired track patrol foreman for N&S Railroad, he was also a United States Army veteran and a member of the Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son who passed away in 1982, Jeffery Michael Napier; brothers, Kenneth, Willis, Wilburn and Wilford; and sister, Effie Steele.

Survivors include, his loving wife, Jean Ratcliff Napier of Fort Gay, WV.; sons, Gregory Alan (Teresa) Napier of Prichard, WV.; Timothy Brian Napier of Fort Gay, WV.; Wilkie Stephen Napier of Prichard, WV.; James Darrin Napier of Fort Gay, WV.; sisters, Anna Jean O’Bryan, Janice Branham, and Joyce Wellman. 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmy Bevins and Pastor Jim Castle officiating.
