Louisa, Ky.  — The Lawrence Co. Lady Bulldogs will get a much needed week off before they head to Tennessee next week to play in the Sevierville Winterfest  Shootout. The Lady Dawgs are 5-4 on the young season and have played some good basketball so far.

Lawrence Co. 60 June Buchanan 15

The Lady Dawgs traveled to Pippa Passes and came away with a runaway victory. LC had 9 players hit the scoring column led by Lexie Ratliff with 21 points, Hannah Rucker and Kylie Maynard with 13 each, Kassidy Cavins had 3, Kelly Davis, Sheree Hay, Shelby Skeens, Scyler Bowens, and Chelsey Fields chipped in with 2 points each.

Lewis Co. 65 Lawerence Co. 36

LC hit the road to Vanceburg and ran into a very good Lewis Co. team. Lexie Ratliff scored 17 points, Kylie Maynard had 7, Hannah Rucker tallied 6 points, Kelly Davis and Chelsey Fields chipped in with 3 points each.

South Floyd 67 Lawrence Co. 57

The Lady Dawgs played their first official home court game of the year after the game with Allen Central was moved and lost to a 7-1 South Floyd team. The game was back and fourth until the end. Lexie Ratliff led the Lady Dawgs with 20 points, Kelly Davis tallied a season high 19 points, Semarra Akers and Kylie Maynard had 5 points each, Hannah Rucker 3 points, Sheree Hay and Kassidy Cavins 2 points each, Shelby Skeens chipped in with a free throw. 

East Ridge 49 Lawrence Co. 46

The Lady Dawgs led for most of the game before faltering at the end to 15th region foe East Ridge on Monday night at Home. Lexie Ratliff paced the Bulldogs with 17 points, Hannah Rucker tallied 14 points, Kelly Davis chipped in with 9 points, Kylie Maynard had 6 points.

Lawrence Co. 46 Morgan Co. 43

The Lady Dawgs broke a three game losing streak with a home victory over the Morgan Co. Lady Cougars on Tuesday night and will now rest up before heading to Tennessee.

“… Tough loss vs East Ridge, we can’t lose that game, can’t lose a lead like we had. It’s a killer we really needed to win that one.” Good bounce back vs Morgan Co. it was a good win that we needed to get before the break starts.”
