David Anthony Ball

1945 – 2016

David Anthony Ball, 71 of Ashland passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

He was born in Ashland on September 19, 1945 to the late Bruce Arnold and Gertrude Crank-Ball.

He was a laborer and he served his country honorably in the US Army. 

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Lester Ball, Bruce Ball and Danny Ball.

David leaves behind a loving family including his wife Brenda Ball of Ashland; one son Daniel Ball and his wife LeAnna of Louisa; one daughter Kristina Ray and her husband Brandon of Milton; six grandchildren Taylor Ball, Evan Ball, Rylee Adkins, Penelope Ray, Parker Ray and Steven Ray; two sisters Joyce Stewart of Ashland and Jennifer Wright of Blaine as well as many friends and extended family all of whom will cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held at the Young Funeral Home Chapel in Louisa on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jack Savage officiating burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast. 

Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Young Funeral Home in Louisa.
