PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Big Sandy Community and Technical College (BSCTC) and the Commonwealth Educational Opportunity Center (CEOC) will host a FAFSA and Enrollment Fair from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, November 30 at the Kentucky Career Center, located at 138 College Street in Pikeville.

“We are proud to partner with the Commonwealth Educational Opportunity Center and the Kentucky Career Center to bring this opportunity to the community,” said Billie Jean Cole, director of enrollment management at BSCTC. “For many, the FAFSA can be a daunting process, but we’ll be on hand to explain the process and assist people in completing their application.”

This year, federal guidelines pushed the start date of the application to October 1. The deadline was created to better align with college admission dates.

BSCTC has financial aid staff on its Prestonsburg, Pikeville and Mayo campuses Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The college offers 30 programs and more than 200 credentials. Spring classes start January 9.

For more information, contact Billie Jean Cole at (606) 886-3863, Ext. 94808 or email billiejean.cole@kctcs.edu.
