Joseph Thomas Fitzhugh

1937-2016

Joseph Thomas Fitzhugh, 79 of Genoa, WV passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2016 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

He was born in Washington, DC on April 28, 1937 to the late Joseph and Eunice Seiders Fitzhugh. Mr. Fitzhugh served his country honorably in the US Navy.

He is survived by two sons, Tony (Laura) Eschbach II of Crum, WV and Joseph Fitzhugh of Maryland; two daughters, Dawn Marie Kidwell and Tammy Lee (Michael) Barrett all of Calvert Co. MD; one brother, Robert Fitzhugh of Georgia; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 10:30 am at the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 1:00pm at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery in Dunbar, WV.

Visitation will be on Friday after 9am at the Young Funeral Home Chapel.
