Terry L. Hensely, 32, of Louisa, was arrested on October 18, 2016, at 10:35 A.M., by patrolman officer Hunter James, of the Louisa Police Department, and was charged with: • ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) NO VISIBLE INJURY,, • ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE (1ST & 2ND OFFENSE), • CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 3RD DEGREE, • TERRORISTIC THREATENING, 3RD DEGREE.
Hensley’s latest arrest is the seventh time he has been taken into custody for domestic violence charges in the last 18 months; and he was already a convicted felon before the latest arrests.
Since 1999, Terry Hensley has been arrested at least 18 times in Lawrence County, on a total of 45 criminal charges. He also has a significant record before 1999.
On July 17, 1999, Hensley was arrested for driving under influence, driving on a DUI suspended license , and disregarding a stop sign, by then Lawrence County deputy (and current Louisa police chief) Greg Fugitt.
On April 25, 2002, Hensley was arrested for: #1 SERVING WARRANT FOR OTHER POLICE AGENCY.
On March 15, 2005, Hensley was arrested for: #1 ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE-1ST & 2ND OFFENSE, #2 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA.
On May 24, 2006, Terry Hensley was arrested by the Louisa Police Department for: #1 PUBLIC INTOXICATION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, #2 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, #3 DRUG PARAPHERNALIA-BUY/POSSESS-1ST OFFENENSE.

On May 15, 2009, Hensley was arrested by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department for: #1 NO/EXPIRED REGISTRATION PLATES, #2 FAILURE TO REGISTER TRANSFER OF MOTOR VEHICLE, #3 POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, #4 NO OPERATORS/ MOPED LICENSE.
On February 20, 2010, Hensley was arrested by the Lawrence County Sheriff Department for: #1 POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE-2ND DEGREE-1ST OFFENSE-DRUG UNSPECIFIED, #2 PRESCRIPTION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE NOT IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, #3 DRUG PARAPHERNALIA-BUY/POSSESS-1ST OFFENSE.

On May 4, 2015, Hensley was arrested by the Kentucky State Police for: #1 ASSAULT, 4TH DEGREE (DOMESTIC VIOLENCE) MINOR INJURY.
