Presley and Campbell lead Rebels to road victory

Welch, W. Va. Tolsia ( 4-1 ) made the long trek to Mount View ( 2-4 ) and took care of business with a 40-22 victory over the Golden Knights on Friday night. 

The Rebels ranked #8 this week in Class single A jumped out to a 32-7 halftime lead and put it on cruise control in the second half vs the #16 team in the state.

Tolsia QB Logan Presley ran for two touchdowns one from 16 yards out and another from 1 yard, plus he threw a touchdown pass to Brian Campbell in the first half. Presley tacked on a fumble return in the 4th quarter. Campbell had Td runs of 57 and 3 plus hauled in a 46 yard bomb all in the first half. Jordan Johnson had 2 conversion runs in the win.

The Tolsia defense held the Golden Knights to negative yards on the ground led by Steven Vanhoose and Derek Meredith. 

Tolsia     8 24 0 8 – 40

Mt View 0 7 7 8 – 22

Tolsia will return home next Friday to take on the Scott Skyhawks.
