Denver Fyffe

1943 – 2016

Denver Fyffe, 72, of Blaine, Kentucky passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home.

Denver was born October 19, 1943 in Relief, Kentucky, a son of the late Arlie and Ethel Ferguson Fyffe. He was retired from American Standard after 35 years of service. Denver was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Blaine, Ky. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen Barker Fyffe who passed away in 1979.

Denver was a graduate of Blaine High School in 1963, where he participated in all sports, excelling in track where he went to state finals and finished second.

Survivors include, his loving wife of 30 plus years, Linda Arnett Fyffe of Blaine, Ky.; son, Gary D. Fyffe; daughter, Danette Fyffe both of Blaine, Ky.; grandchildren, Katelyn Fyffe (Troy) Dale of Louisa, Ky.; Gary Denver Fyffe II of Blaine, Ky.; great grandchildren, Preslyn and Pailyn Miller both of Louisa, Ky.; sisters, Pat (Mike) Bailey of Blaine, Ky.; Jean (David) Jarrell of South Lyon, MI; extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday, September 26, 2016 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Jordan, Bro. Ed Austin and Bro. Ron Dye officiating. Burial will follow at the Fyffe Cemetery, Brushy Creek Rd., Blaine, Ky.

Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Young Funeral Home.
