2016 Louisa Middle School Soccer
Louisa, Ky. — Coming off two really good seasons the boys soccer team from Lawrence Co. Middle School knew this year would be a little bit different because the team was so young. The Dawgs only have three 8th graders on the roster this season in Evan Rawlings, Tanner Castle and Trey Brumfield.
The 7th graders are really talented kids already. Coaches Scott Johnson and Brook Maynard are doing a good job with this squad. LC is off to a 2-3-1 record halfway through the season with two of those losses to Ashland Middle, a very good squad that has a bunch of 8th graders.
7th Grader Luke Johnson and 5th Grader Blake Maynard are the teams leading scorers so far. 7th Grader Joey Moore has done a solid job as goal keeper for the Dawgs.
Luke Johnson scored 3 goals in a 4-2 win over South Point at Home.
