William “Blake” Ramey

1999 –2016

William “Blake” Ramey, 17, of Louisa, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Cabell – Huntington Hospital.  Mr. Ramey was born January 20, 1999 in Paintsville, KY to Green and Brittany (Fraley) Ramey.  

Along with his parents he is survived by one sister, Breana Ramey, Maternal Grandparents, Ervin and Janet Lee Fraley of Louisa, KY, Paternal Grandmother, Helen Lynn Ramey of Paintsville, KY, twelve aunts and uncles: Kimberly and Timothy Damron, Sherry and Douglas Castle, Erin and James Hughes, Carrie and Mike Vanhoose, Josh and Lacey Ramey, David Michael and Tina Ferguson, and ten cousins, Joshua, Candice, Cameron, Austin, Abby, Michaella, Tracy, J.D., Abby, and Chassidy. He was a senior at Lawrence County High School.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon on Monday, September 5 at Lawrence County High School with Rev. Jerry Hughes, and Brothers James Maynard and Josh Ramey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ramey Cemetery on Rt. 1760. 

Friends may visit the family Sunday, September 4 any time after 6:00pm at Cando Free Will Baptist Church.  Care has been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, Louisa, KY.
