Louisa, Ky. — After a five set loss on the road at Fairview early last week the Lawrence Co. Volleyball team ( 1-2 ) took care of Sheldon Clark in their first home game of the year by the score of 3-1 ( 25-21, 21-25, 25-15, 25-16 ) as first year LC head coach Kelly Chapman collected her first win.
Lawrence Co. opened the season on the road as they visited Prestonsburg dropping their first match of the 2016 season by the score 3-0 ( 25-13, 25-10, 25- 15 )
Playing on the road for the second straight night the VolleyDawgs lost a tough five set match at Fairview 3-2 ( 26-24, 21-25, 25-13, 19-25, 15-2 ) LC battled the whole game and just came up a little short.
