First student athlete from LCHS Fishing team to sign with a major college

The LCHS Bass Fishing team is proud to announce that our very own Michael Scaggs will be signing, and earning a scholarship, with Campbellsville University next week at Green River Lake.
Scaggs, one of two founding members of the LCHS bass team, is the first student athlete from the LCHS Fishing team to sign with a major university.
While fishing for LCHS, Scaggs compiled many accomplishments.

– 2016 Riherd’s Awards KHSAA Bass Fishing Above and Beyond Recipient
-2 time KHSAA State Championship Qualifier
-2 time Kentucky Bass Nation High School State Championship Qualifier
– 2015 Bassmaster High School National Championship Qualifier
-2014 Kentucky Bass Nation High School Championship Runner Up
-2014 Bradley Roy Open runner-up
Michael will be signing next Thursday, July 28, 2016, just before the 1st day Weigh in.

Green River Lake, Campbellsville, Ky, and Campbellsville University will the hosting the 2016 Bassmaster College Series National Championship next week July 28-30.
