Louisa, Ky. — The 2015-2016 school year in Lawrence Co. will be one to remember for years to come. The 2016 senior class will go down as one of the most successful classes in LCHS history.
The Boys basketball team won a region title and made it to Rupp arena for the first time ever, the Football and Baseball teams played for region championships, Softball won a region game for the first time since 2010, the Girls basketball and Soccer teams made it to the regional tournament. Volleyball tied a record for most wins in a season and the Track team had some success as well.
When you have that much success the rewards will come with all state and all area selections. Some of these athletes made it in multiple sports.

It was my pleasure to write about each and every one of these athletes throughout the 2015-2016 school year. It has been an outstanding year for Lawrence Co. Athletics and each one of them made my job so much easier. They all showed respect to me and my kids. Trey and Luke look up to everyone at the High School and have made memories that will last a lifetime and for that I truly say from the bottom of heart THANK YOU.
