LCEM mini camp (cpr training) with Air-Evac

BLAINE — June 14th at the Blaine Community Center, Lawrence Co. Emergency Management kicked off the first of 25 Mini-Camps on Preparedness & Safety.

From Mid June through the end of July, they will be hosting these around the county. ALL CAMPS WILL BE FREE.

Last night at 6:00pm was the first one, a CPR Training for kids by Air Evac. The training is hands on CPR and the kids that showed up ranged in ages from 6 to 14.

Those that attended to help with the training were David Yager, Base Pilot Supervisor for area 116, Pilot Frank Kilby, flight paramedic, Morgan Michel, Base Line Pilot and Ashley Martin, RN (Flight Nurse) Along with several members of Lawrence County Management Team.

A schedule will be attached in hopes that everyone can bring their children out to attend these fun and informative mini camps.
