Bill England Ties Course Record with a net 26

Bill England fires a net 26, tieing Victor Swinney’s course record first set last year. What a nine-holes of golf, a net round of 26. Congratulations Bill, and I congratulate you on a great round of golf. There were a lot of good scores turned in but none nearly as good as that of our Mr. England. It’s hard to perceive how difficult it is to have a score that low. Besides shooting that score, Bill is the oldest player in the league. Bill, Your actual award will come as you receive your new handicap, as the handicaps are being calculated this week.

It was a beautiful day for golf, and the course was in excellent condition. The greens are continuing to speed up which means you don’t want to be above the hole when you putt. The Bermuda grass has filled in the fairways, and the course is great shape.
