Summer Reading Staycation Contest winners
The Daniels Family (Brian, Royce, Junior, Zoe) won the Summer Reading Staycation Contest. This was a partnership with the Lawrence County Tourism Commission.

LIBRARY SUMMER READING PROGRAM BEGINS JUNE 17
The Lawrence County Public Library’s 2016 Summer Reading Program will run June 17 – July 22. This year’s theme is “Exercise Your Mind.” Daily activities are offered for all ages, including programming at the Blaine Community Center every Wednesday. As part of Summer Reading, the Library will give away two Kindle Fires along with weekly prizes.
The Library is also participating in the Summer Feeding Program and offers free lunch every day (Monday – Friday) at noon for children ages 18 and under. Free lunches will be offered until July 29.
