All camps are FREE!
From mid June through the end of July we will be hosting some Mini-Camps on Preparedness & Safety around the county.
This is the current schedule with the possibility of some minor changes or additional locations. We would like to thank the current agencies that have agreed to provide this training; Louisa FD, LowmansvilleVolunteer FireDepartment, Fallsburg Fire Dept, Cherryville Fire – Rescue, WebbvilleVolunteer FireDepartment, Lawrence Co Search and Rescue, Netcare Ambulance Lawrence Co., Louisa Police Department, Air Evac Lifeteam 116- Inez, Kentucky, US National Weather Service Charleston WV, American Red Cross Serving Eastern Kentucky
The camps will be for children ages 6-14. You can sign up for each at the links below each location.
This completely FREE so please bring your kids out to have a good time and learn some safety and preparedness lessons.

Each night will start at 6PM and last until approximately 9PM. We plan on being able to provide some training each night with the kids and allow them time to interact with members of the agencies and their equipment. Hopefully this will ease their stress in case a real emergency happens and allow them the knowledge to help others when needed.
We are still currently trying to find a location to host similar camps in the Lowmansville area thanks to the help of the Lowmansville Fire Department.
