BIG LINEUP FOR TODAY’S SATURDAY SHOW
“1st Time Around” a local bluegrass/gospel band is hosting The 2nd Annual YOUTHFEST here at The Lawrence County Park @ Yatesville Lake. (77 Wilderness Rd.) They are showcasing the talent of youth bands from all over the United States, and with your help possibly get to pay them for sharing their music with our area. They are asking the community to get behind them with any help possible.
Just a little introduction for Lawrence Counties very own, they are all local kids ranging in age 12-19. They began playing in this area, but quickly advanced to the National level. They were one of 14 bands that were showcased at the Annual Society of the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association Convention in Nashville, TN. Members include Zachary Wright, 14 (Banjo), Savanna Wright, 12 (Upright Bass) both of Fallsburg, Ky. Eden Adair Webb, 13 (Mandolin) and Adrian Paige Webb, 12 (fiddle) both of Louisa, Ky., and Justin Lemaster, 19 who is a singer/songwriter from Ft. Gay, WV.
