From the Columbus Division of Police

Yesterday, April 3, 2016, around 2:30 pm officers were dispatched to a home on Ruma Rd on a domestic dispute where the callers family member was a suspect in the double homicide of their 79-year-old aunt & 52-year-old cousin in Blaine, Kentucky.

Both victims were found in a home with gunshot wounds Saturday night. Officers also received info that the suspect, 47-year-old Stanley Webb Jr. of Logan, Ohio, was driving a stolen vehicle. Family members let Police Comm Tech Devault know that they believed Webb was armed with a gun and trying to get into their home.

While patrol officers, in addition to Officers Lavey & Zimmerman, were responding to the area, the caller advised that the suspect left and provided a very detailed description to include the license plate. Officers Zimmermann and Lavey, with assistance from CPD’s Helicopter Unit Officers Kinsey & Ferguson, located the suspect vehicle in the area of Lockbourne Rd. & Obetz Rd. where a pursuit began. The suspect eventually stopped, prior to officers attempting any stopping tactics, and was taking into custody.

The investigating jurisdiction from Kentucky responded and the suspect was held on detainer for homicide and motor vehicle theft. #‎CPD #‎teamwork
