The Lawrence County youth football teams traveled this weekend to Barboursville, Wv to take on the Pirates. The games were played on the turf at Barboursville park on a scorching hot day.

The D-Team started the day off with a 26-0 loss to a very good Barboursville team.

Next up to take the field was the reigning C-Team Turf Bowl Champions. They came out sluggish, but they got on track. The Bulldogs won the game 22-6.

(C-Team defensive unit held Barboursville to only 6 points on the day.)

The first B-team game was played next. They are coming off a Turf-Bowl runner-up. They defeated the Barboursville Red team 14-6.

(B-Team defensive squad kept the Pirates at bay, scoring only 1 time.)

Up next was the 2nd B-Team game against Barboursville White. The Bulldogs put up a good effort, but they fell short 24-0.

(2nd B-Team lined up on defense.)

To end a very hot day, the defending A-Team Turf Bowl champion Bulldogs played their A-team game. The bulldogs started hot in the first quarter, putting up 22 points. The A-team came out with a dominant 38-14 victory.
