Louisa, Ky. — It’s finally football Friday in Lawrence Co. as the Bulldogs will open the regular season tonight at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium against the Rowan Co. Vikings. 

Bulldog Seniors 

L to R Josh Stepp, Charlie Fletcher, Rain Warden, Colin Howard, Peyton Lowe, Aden Handley, Josh Spillman, Caden Thompson, Derrick Rakes

The two teams met last year in Morehead and the Dawgs were victorious 34-14 behind Luke Fetherolf who tossed two touchdown passes and Eli Fletcher who ran for two.

The Bulldogs are 3-1 against the Vikings since 2010. Rowan County’s last victory in the series was a 34-13 victory in 2010.

The Dawgs are coming off a 19-7 victory in their last scrimmage a week ago against East Carter. Luke Fetherolf had two touchdown passes in the second quarter one to Kaden Johnson and one to Carlo Chicko.
