Kathie Frazier Johnson of Springfield, Ohio went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2024.

She was born in Wayne County, West Virginia to Max and Edith (Doss) Frazier, one of 13 children. She was preceded in death by her parents; 6 brothers Billy (Helen), Charles “Nim Rod”, James “Budget”, Jerry, Michael, and Ricky; sister Patty; and brothers in law Owen Marcum and Fred Fraley.

Kathie is survived by daughters Melissa Bosler of Louisa, KY, Crysta Bosler and Rhonda (Rob) McLaughlin, both of Urbana, OH; 5 grandchildren Tasha (Justin), Raven (Anthony), Savannah (Trey), Brittany (Chris), and Ashley (Luke); 7 great grandchildren Ryder, Cash, Paislee, Skyla, Saylor, Ryilan, and Jeremiah; sisters Rita (Toney) Caperton of Ceredo, WV, Tennie Sue Fraley and Jenny Lou (Joe) Rose, both of Fort Gay, WV; and brothers Max Frazier Jr. and Danny (Diana) Frazier of Louisa, KY.

Kathie loved life and was loved by many who knew her. She gave her life to Jesus and she is no longer in pain. She had many cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her and she loved them. She will be missed.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Doss Hill Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of services in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset final expenses.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. Johnson and her family.
