UK King’s Daughters now an in-network provider for PEIA

UK King’s Daughters is pleased to announce that, effective July 1, 2024, it is an in-network provider for the West Virginia Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA). The agency serves more than 68,000 West Virginians, including all state employees and their families, totaling about 150,000 members.

About UK King’s Daughters:

Serving nearly 400,000 residents in western West Virginia, eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio, King’s Daughters is comprised of:

  • two acute-care hospitals totaling 465 licensed beds
    • an integrated network of more than 400 physicians and advanced practitioners
    • more than 80 outpatient locations throughout eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio
  • eight urgent care centers

King’s Daughters is the region’s largest employer, with more than 5,500 team members providing a broad range of primary and specialty care services, including cardiovascular, orthopedics, oncology, stroke/neurology, maternity, and Level 3 neonatal intensive care.

In December 2022, King’s Daughters became a part of the University of Kentucky.
