OVERDOSE CALL AT STORE IN FALLSBURG, KENTUCKY LEADS TO ARRESTS OF LAWRENCE COUNTY, KY. MAN, MARTIN COUNTY, KY. WOMAN, FAYETTE COUNTY, KY. MAN, AND MINGO COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA MAN ON TRAFFICKING OF HEROIN AND METH CHARGES

ALL FOUR SUSPECTS CHARGED WITH TRAFFICKING METH OF TWO GRAMS OR HIGHER AMOUNT WEIGHT FOR THE SECOND OR MORE TIMES

DRUG TRAFFICKING JUNKIES FLOCK TOGETHER GET ARRESTED TOGETHER: JOSHUA LEE RATLIFF, 41, OF LOUISA, KY., TAYLOR MILLS JR., 42, OF LEXINGTON, KY., LUCILLE LYNN MILLS, 47, OF WARFIELD, KY., JULIAN RAY OOTEN, 39, OF LENORE, WEST VIRGINIA; WERE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY NIGHT, MAY 7, IN FALLSBURG, KY., ON MAJOR FELONY DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES INVOLVING HEROIN & METH; WITH JULIAN OOTEN GETTING FOUR ADDITIONAL CHARGES, AS WELL BEING WANTED ON A PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT.

What started out as an emergency call about a drug overdose, ended up with four people being taken to and placed in jail on drug charges, after the Lawrence County Sheriff Office responded and they found meth and heroin.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff Office; on Tuesday night, May 7, deputies were called to the Dollar General discount store at Fallsburg, KY., involving a report where a man was reported to be overdosing in the parking lot.

While the deputies were on their way, firefighters let them know that one of the men with the group was trying to flee because of an outstanding warrant. The firefighters also spotted a woman in the group toss a black box under the vehicle they were in.

When they arrived on the scene, they recovered the box and found approximately 60 grams of meth. They also found a bag of heroin in the car.

The cops arrested all of the four people in the group who were identified as the following: Joshua Lee Ratliff, 41, of Louisa, KY., Taylor Mills Jr., 42, of Lexington, KY., Lucille Lynn Mills, 47, of Warfield, KY., Julian Ray Ooten, 39, of Lenore, West Virginia.

Joshua Lee Ratliff was the man who was reported to be overdosing, and he was taken to Three Rivers Medical Center. Once there, however, he checked himself out against medical advice and he tried to leave, but he was arrested before he could get away. Taylor Mills Jr. was identified as the person who was trying to leave the scene due to having a warrant out for his arrest.

All four individuals were each charged with the following:

Joshua Lee Ratliff was charged with:

  • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OR > – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
  • TRAFFICCKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN,
  • IMPORTING HEROIN.

Taylor Mills Jr. was charged with:

  • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OR > – (> OR = TWO (2) GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
  •  TRAFFICCKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN,
  • IMPORTING HEROIN,
  • DRUG PARAPHERNALIA – BUY/POSSESS  PUBLIC INTOXICATION-CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (EXCLUDES ALCOHOL),
  • TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE,
  • SERVING PAROLE VIOLATION WARRANT,
  • POSSESSION OF HANDGUN BY CONVICTED FELON

Lucille Lynn Mills was charged with:

  • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OR > – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
  • TRAFFICCKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN, IMPORTING HEROIN.

Julian Ray Ooten was charged with:

  • TRAFFICKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, 1ST DEGREE, 2ND OR > – (> OR = 2 GRAMS METHAMPHETAMINE),
  • TRAFFICCKING IN CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 1ST OFFENSE (HEROIN,
  • IMPORTING HEROIN.

All four drug suspects were taken to and are currently lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center Paintsville in Johnson County, KY.

      I know you are trying to be sarcastic and funny but this is such a horrible comment.
      Thank God we have Narcan to save a human, child of God.
      Should be the comment!
      And I know these people are doing horrible things and I can’t stand drugs and the fact that it has destroyed so much in our world, but I do know that Jesus loved everyone and these people were someone’s baby at one point.
      My hope would be for them to get help instead of hoping they would die.
