A Magoffin County man is facing up to 15 years in federal prison, after being indicted on federal gun charges.

Bobby Wireman Jr., 42, of Salyersville, KY., received his indictment on Thursday, April 25, by a federal grand jury, for which he was charged with possession of stolen firearms and possession of firearms by a person previously committed to a mental institution. Bobby Wireman is currently being held in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, KY., in Johnson County, where he has been lodged since February 26, after he was brought back to the BSRDC after he was arrested by deputy Caleb Carmical of the Harlan County Sheriff Office on February 23,on an arrest warrant from Magoffin County where he was wanted on the charge of *WANTON ENDANGERMENT-1ST DEGREE; for which led to the discovery of the three stolen guns, and his newly ensued federal indictment
