LAWRENCE COUNTY MAN ARRESTED AND REMAINS IN JAIL AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY TRIED TO CUT OUT HIS EX-WIFE’S TONGUE WITH A KNIFE!
SELF ADMITTED TO COPS OF HIS ALCOHOL & WEED USE, SUSPECT ALSO FOUND TO BE IN ILLEGAL POSSESSION OF FIREARM
THE LOOK OF SOMEONE WHO WAS DRUNK AND STONED, AND IN THE MOOD TO SLICE OUT HIS FORMER SPOUSE’S TONGUE: CHARLES EDWARD JEFFREY, 60, OF LOUISA, KENTUCKY; WAS ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH TOP FELONY ASSAULT, AS WELL AS BEING A FELON IN POSSESSION OF A GUN.
Police were called Friday night, March 1, to a home on Cherryville Road, over a report of a man and woman fighting. When they spoke to the couple, the woman told police she had been in an argument with her ex-husband, Charles Edward Jeffrey, 60 of Louisa, KY., when he pulled out a box cutter and attempted to cut out her tongue. The woman told the officers that she fled the home to get away from him.
Charles Jeffrey admitted to police that he had been fighting with his ex-wife and that he had been drinking and smoking marijuana, but said he didn’t hurt her. However, the woman showed police where she had been cut on the bottom of her tongue.
Charles Jeffrey was arrested by deputy Travis Music of the Lawrence County Sheriff Office. and he was charged with:
* ASSAULT, 1ST DEGREE – DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, and also:
*POSSESSION OF FIREARM BY CONVICTED FELON, after officers reportedly found a shotgun next to Charles Jeffrey when they interviewed him.
Charles Edward Jeffrey was taken to and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center in Paintsville, where he is currently still being held.

And here all these years I was told by different lawyers and judges you are innocent until proven guilty. That statement needs to have a expectation in it…Which is your innocent until proven guilty unless you have the misfortune of living in the state of Ky County
Lawrence then your innocence dosent matter. The truth is we won’t do a full investigation especially if your known in Lawrence Co. A person meaning the alleged victim can also be a alcoholic and addicted to opioid and diagnosed with several disorders that require psychic meds and has a lengthy record theirselves and a history of crying wolf just to get rid of the one she is with at the time so she can move in a new man. I should of known that Lawrence County hasn’t changed one bit. # Lawrence County Ky come visit and spend the next 10 to 15 years of your life at one of many jails (Prison). This is one reason people leave Lawrence County how do I know this I’m from this messed up County and I don’t admit it to anyone.

Apparently steph you dint know the situation the victim is a good friend of mine and the way he talked to her and put her down all the time is pathetic so you saying she is on drugs or whatever doesn’t change the fact that the man is evil and has spent 5 years in the pen in ohio for this same thing also spent 18 weeks in Ohio for this abusing women he is a very belligerent drunk who doesn’t deserve to have a woman he don’t know how to treat them and you need to keep your mouth shut unless you know the hell this woman has went threw so you need to keep your mouth to yourself and if he didn’t have a lengthy record with the law in lawrence county they wouldn’t even know who he is the law has done the right thing in getting this woman abusing monster off the street he is where he belongs thank you wade queen for letting people know what really happend also his own mother got an ego on him last year because he treated to slit her throat
