Betty VanHorn, 90, of Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Betty was born January 21, 1933 to the late Herbert and Vinnie (Newsome) VanHorn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Jay Cochran and her son Richard Jay Cochran, Jr.

Betty was a member of the Church of God.

Survivors include her children Bonnie (Larry) Moon, Linda Johnson, Deloris Jean Childers, and Mary (Fanio) Guidino; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; and daughter in law Mary Lou Cochran.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 1, 2023 at 12:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tommy “Roy” Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Cochran Family Cemetery, Fallsburg, KY.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ms. VanHorn and her family.
