Parker Watts goes up between two Hornets to make the catch right before halftime.
In the third quarter Evans once again found Watts this for 26 yard strike with 8:32 left in the third period and it was 28-0 Rebels.
#77 Levi Parsley brings down the Phelps ball carrier on Friday night.
Under two minutes later Mollette went untouched 22 yards for touchdown and John Jerrell tacked on the two point conversion to set the final score of 36-0.
The teams agreed to reduce the rest of the third quarter and play 6:00 minutes with a running clock in the fourth quarter.

Tolsia Head Coach David Thompson
COACH’S COMMENTS
“…We knew coming in that Phelps would be better than last year and that is what we preached to our team all week long. We started fast with the early touchdowns and then we sputtered offensively and they had a little to do with that. They made some plays offensively and kept our offense off the field and when we were on the field we kept shooting our selves in the foot with penalties and dropped passes. But through it all our guys played hard and we came out with the win.”
“… Really proud of our defense tonight. Thought they were around the football all night and put a bunch of pressure on their quarterback. And then I thought the touchdown right before half gave us all the momentum and then broke their backs a little. Evans to Watts is a lethal combo and to get that right before the half was huge.”
“… I didn’t think we played particularly well and I’m sure they were looking ahead to next week when we play Tug Valley on the road and with a young team that happens sometimes. It should be a dandy in a great atmosphere for high school football. We are excited and looking forward to competing with a top ten team in front of a big crowd”
“… Great crowd for us here tonight and it was awesome to see all of the jerseys in the crowd from the Tolsia youth league and the teams from Crum and Fort Gay middle school here. I’m sure they loved getting their name announced at halftime and run out onto the field. Those feeder programs are big for us at the high school level. The youth league has really improved and the numbers are up as well. So glad to see Crum middle have a team again and Fort Gay has about 30 kids out and won the county championship last year. I try to help those programs when I can and get out to the practices and the games. I think was have things lined out and starting to move in the right direction at all levels. You know Rome wasn’t built in a day, it takes time but I’m excited for the future of Rebel football.”
