The Dawgs lost a heartbreaker to Johnson Central 1-0 in the 15th Region semifinals to end last season.

The SoccerDawgs will open the season at the LC Soccer Complex on Tuesday at 8:00 vs Pikeville and then hopefully entertain Belfry at 8:00 on Thursday on the new turf at Luke Varney Jr. Memorial Stadium turf.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… Practice has looked really good and the team is getting better every day. We played a couple of 40 minute scrimmage games at Shawnee State on July 29th against Wheelersburg ( OH ) and Unioto (Chillicothe Oh) and went 1-1 on the day. Then the following weekend we traveled to Johnson Central and played in their turf classic and played three 25 minute games. We finished the day with a 0-0 tie with Rowan Co, 3-0 win vs Shelby Valley and a 2-1 loss to Ashland.”
“… We will open our season up on Tuesday at 8:00pm at home against Pikeville. We are looking forward to getting the season started. Pikeville is a well coached team so we are looking for a really good game to start the season.”
