Fort Gay, W.Va. — The Tolsia Boys basketball team put together another youth camp at Rebel arena recently and it went great.

This was the second year that Tolsia boys basketball Head Coach Brain Stacy has put on the camp and once again it was free for all attendees.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Rebel Arena was invaded with 35 youngsters aging from five years old up to nine years old.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday it was the older kids turn with ages ranging from ten to fourteen years old were in Rebel Arena with around 30 showing up and putting the work.
The Tolsia basketball team along with the coaching staff focused on fundamentals of the game such as ball handling, shooting and going over game situations among other stuff during the week long camp.

COACH’S COMMENTS
“… We finished up camp for the little guys and I’m telling you they are the bomb. We loved seeing the smiles on their faces each day that we came into the gym. They may not know how to do everything we show them right now, but they’ll sure give it all they got. Love seeing my boys working with them and just having fun. They sure put a big smile on this old coach’s face.”
“… Pleased with the numbers we had out considering it was vacation week. Had a great camp overall though. This camp is totally free every kid left with basketball, T-shirt and picture for their room. This was are second season at hosting the running rebel camp. I simply love it and gives us a chance to give back to the youth in are area and my players a chance to work first hand with these boys and girls. Always told my dad if I ever got a high school job I was going host a free camp for the youth. I know this is a great fundraiser for lot schools but long as my boys get what we need our camp will continue to be free.”
“… We had an awesome week. I have to say I really enjoyed both groups. The little guys that make me laugh everyday to the older guys that’s trying do everything we ask of them. Super group of kids all week long. I want to thank everyone that helped out this week, we couldn’t have done it without any of you. The Future looks bright for Tolsia.” LOVE MY REBELS!!!
