Martin County man charged with strangling wife, Assault on 4 year-old in latest indictments handed down

INEZ, Ky. — Martin County Circuit Clerk Denise Gauze announced Martin County Grand Jury indictments on July 6, including Robert Williamson being charged with strangulation of Kathy Williamson and assault in the fourth degree of a juvenile child.

Commonwealth vs. Phillip Horn

The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 16, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Phillip Horn committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine.

  2. Phillip Horn committed the offense of possession of Marijuana by knowingly and unlawfully possessing Marijuana.

Commonwealth vs. Zachary Delong

The Grand Jury charges that on or before July 4, 2022 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Zachary Delong committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine.

Commonwealth vs. Brianna Ellis

The Grand Jury charges that on or before April 4, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Brianna Ellis acting alone or in complicity with Kody Harless committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Fentanyl.

  2. Brianna Ellis acting alone or in complicity with Kody Harless committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Heroin.

Commonwealth vs. Kody Harless

The Grand Jury charges that on or before April 4, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Brianna Ellis acting alone or in complicity with Kody Harless committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Fentanyl.

  2. Brianna Ellis acting alone or in complicity with Kody Harless committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Heroin.

  3. Brianna Ellis committed the offense of prescription controlled substance not in the proper container by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of two Naloxone strips not in the proper administered container.

Commonwealth vs. John Spears

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 10, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. John Spears committed the offense of wanton endangerment in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully engaging in conduct which created a substantial danger to another, namely Deputy Jonathan Holbrook with the Martin County Sheriff’s Department.

Commonwealth vs. Brianna Ellis

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 3, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Brianna Ellis  committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Fentanyl.

  2. Brianna Ellis committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.

  3. Brianna Ellis committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Marijuana.

Commonwealth vs. Robert Williamson 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before April 7, 2023 and August 28, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Robert Williamson committed the offense of strangulation by intentionally, without consent, impeding the normal breathing or circulation of the blood of another, applying pressure to the throat or neck of another, or by blocking the nose or mouth of another person, namely Kathy Williamson.

  2. Robert Williamson committed the offense of assault in the fourth degree by knowingly and unlawfully physically assaulting a juvenile child.

Commonwealth vs. Derrick Brewer 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 15, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Derrick Brewer committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court with or without bail, upon condition that he will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge.

Commonwealth vs. Ricky Gauze 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 10, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Ricky Gauze committed the offense of bail jumping in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully having been released from custody by the court with or without bail, upon condition that he will subsequently appear at a specified time and place in connection with a felony charge.

Commonwealth vs. Ray Collins  

The Grand Jury charges that on or before December 27, 2022  in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Ray Collins acting alone or in complicity with Justin Mollette committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 under $100,000 by knowingly and unlawfully taking aerial phone cable owned maintained by AT&T with a total value of the items exceeding $10,000.

  2. Ray Collins, having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count is now being charged as a persistent felony offender.

Commonwealth vs. Robert Dillon  

The Grand Jury charges that on or before April 8, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Robert Dillon committed the offense of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine.

  2. Robert Dillon committed the offense of assault in the fourth degree by knowingly and unlawfully physically assaulting Joanne Ryder.

  3. Robert Dillon committed the offense of possession of Marijuana by knowingly and unlawfully possessing Marijuana.

  4. Robert Dillon committed the offense of possession/use of drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of two altered glass pipes.

Commonwealth vs. Allen Brewer 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before August 31, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Allen Keith Brewer committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $1,000 by knowingly and unlawfully taking a 007 GMC Envoy owned by Ariel Carver with a value of  $5,700.

Commonwealth vs. Robert Moore

The Grand Jury charges that on or before May 20, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Robert Moore acting alone in complicity with Kristi Fletcher committed the offense trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Fentanyl) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 2.3 grams of Fentanyl, $158.00 in cash monies, digital scales, with the intent of trafficking or distributing that schedule II narcotic namely, Fentanyl or by trafficking in that Fentanyl.

  2. Robert Moore acting alone or in complicity with Kristi Fletcher committed the offense trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) > 2 grams by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 2.25 grams of Methamphetamine, $130.00 in cash monies, and digital scales, with the intent of trafficking or distributing that controlled substance namely, Methamphetamine or  by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.

  3. Robert Moore, having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

  4. Robert Moore acting alone or in complicity with Kristi Fletcher committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the third degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of five Diazepam.

  5. Robert Moore committed the violation of rear license not illuminated by being in physical control of a motor vehicle upon a Ky roadway without proper illumination or lighting on the rear license plate.

  6. Robert Moore committed the violation of inadequate silencer by knowingly and unlawfully being in physical control of a motor vehicle upon a Ky roadway without proper silencer.

  7. Robert Moore committed the offense of operating a motor vehicle on suspended or revoked license by knowingly and unlawfully operating a motor vehicle white his license to operate said motor vehicle had been suspended or revoked.

Commonwealth vs. Christopher Maynard 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before may 5, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Christopher Maynard committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of Methamphetamine.

Commonwealth vs. Kristi Fletcher

The Grand Jury charges that on or before May 20, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Kristi Fletcher  acting alone in complicity with Robert Moore committed the offense trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Fentanyl) by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 2.3 grams of Fentanyl, $158.00 in cash monies, digital scales, with the intent of trafficking or distributing that schedule II narcotic namely, Fentanyl or by trafficking in that Fentanyl.

  2. Kristi Fletcher  acting alone or in complicity with Robert Moorer committed the offense trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) > 2 grams by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 2.25 grams of Methamphetamine, $130.00 in cash monies, and digital scales, with the intent of trafficking or distributing that controlled substance namely, Methamphetamine or  by trafficking in that Methamphetamine.

  3. Krist Fletcher, having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

  4. Kristi Fletcher  acting alone or in complicity with Robert Moore committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the third degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of five Diazepam.

Commonwealth vs. Lawrence Ratcliff 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 9, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Lawrence Ratcliff Jr acting alone or in complicity with Haskell Orsbon committed the offense trafficking in controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) > 2 grams by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of approximately 113 grams of Methamphetamine packaged in three separate plastic baggies, digital scales and an altered pipe with the intent to traffick in that Methamphetamine or by trafficking in that controlled substance, namely 113 grams of Methamphetamine while in possession of a Taurus brand 9mm caliber handgun.

Commonwealth vs. Haskell Orsbon 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 9, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Haskell Orsbon  acting alone or in complicity with Lawrence Ratliff Jr. committed the offense trafficking in controlled substance in the first degree (Methamphetamine) > 2 grams by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of approximately 113 grams of Methamphetamine packaged in three separate plastic baggies, digital scales and an altered pipe with the intent to traffick in that Methamphetamine or by trafficking in that controlled substance, namely 113 grams of Methamphetamine while in possession of a Taurus brand 9mm caliber handgun.

  2. Haskell Orsbon, having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.

Commonwealth vs. Haskell Orsbon 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before June 9, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Haskell Orsbon  committed the offense of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon by possessing a Taurus brand 9mm caliber handgun father having been previously convicted of a felony out of the state of WV.

Commonwealth vs. Justin Mollette 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before December 27, 2022 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Justin Mollette acting alone or in complicity with Ray Collins committed the offense of theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 under $100,000 by knowingly and unlawfully taking aerial phone cable owned and maintained by AT&T with a total value of the items

exceeding $10,000.

Commonwealth vs. Marlon Mollette

The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 24, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Marlon Mollette acting alone or complicity with Kevin Farichild committed the offense of selling or receiving of Vehicle with VIN removed or altered by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a 2019 General Motors Savana model box truck stolen from U Haul of Madison, TN with the original manufacturer’s VIN removed, defaced or altered.

  2. Marlon Mollette acting alone or in complicity with Keving Fairchild committed the offense of receiving stolen property over $10,000 by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 2019 General Motors Savan model box truck stolen from U Haul of Madison, TN with an approximate value of $27,000.

Commonwealth vs. Kevin Fairchild 

The Grand Jury charges that on or before March 24, 2023 in Martin County, Ky the above named defendant:

  1. Kevin Farichild  acting alone or complicity with Marlon Mollette committed the offense of selling or receiving of Vehicle with VIN removed or altered by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a 2019 General Motors Savana model box truck stolen from U Haul of Madison, TN with the original manufacturer’s VIN removed, defaced or altered.

  2. Kevin Fairchild  acting alone or in complicity with Marlon Mollette Committed the offense of receiving stolen property over $10,000 by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of 2019 General Motors Sawan model box truck stolen from U Haul of Madison, TN with an approximate value of $27,000.

  3. Kevin Fairchild, having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count, is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the first degree.
