Elneada “Eda” Moore Kirk went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2023 following an extended illness. She was a housewife and was a member of Walnut Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

Elneada was born July 31, 1937 in Garrett, KY, the daughter of the late Dennis and Rachel Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Donald W. Kirk; children Charlie Kirk, Debbie Kirk and Ricky Kirk; grandson Jeremy King; great granddaughter LeTemarra; and siblings Fred Dye, Ed Dye, Dorothy Scott, Maxie Patton, Earnest Moore, Pauline Brandt, Ruby Rush, and Arlene Dale.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon (William) King; daughters in law Brenda Kirk and Darlene Gambill; grandchildren Charles Scarberry, Tammy Ferguson, Rachel Blair, LeKeizia Reed, Justin Kirk, Chrissy Conner, Billy Bush, Michael Bush, and Kimberly Wheeler; twenty six great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren; special niece Kay Stevens; and special caregiver Donna Blevins.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Roger Jordan officiating. Burial will follow in the Hannah Cemetery in Lowmansville.

Friends may visit the family Monday, May 22, 2023 after 4:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Kirk and her family.
