Rose Ann Vanhoose, 73, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 15, 2023.

Rose was born October 19, 1949 in Louisa, KY to the late Mary Ethel (Ratcliff) Meade. In addition to her mother, Rose was preceded in death by her daughter Tonya Renee Vanhoose and her son Steven Michael Vanhoose.

Rose was a Christian and had given her life to the Lord. She loved flowers of all types.

Survivors include her husband Everett Ray Vanhoose; very special son Troy Vanhoose; grandson Jason Michael Vanhoose; and special friends Joetta Hatfield and Tom and Carol Pennington.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mac Ray Cyrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Gay Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mrs. Vanhoose and her family.
