Mark R. Ellis, 59, of Hager Hill, KY went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

Mark was born July 8, 1963 in South Charleston, WV to the late Newton and Marline (Little) Ellis.

Mark was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisa. He loved planes, helicopters, drones, and anything else that would fly.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents Newton and Marline Ellis; wife Deanna Ellis; longtime companion Evelyn Ratliff; and brother Thomas Ellis.

Survivors include his children David Ellis, Kristy (Brent) May, T.J. (Lacey) Osborne, and Jonathan Ratliff; grandchildren Tonya Miles, Amber May, Shawn May, Harper Osborne, Carter Osborne, and Evan Osborne; great granddaughter Josie May; siblings William Michael (Dana) Ellis, Leta Joe (Tom) Easter, Janet Lynn Porterfield, Tim (Ashontae) Ellis, and James (Kathy) Ellis; sister in law Arlene Ellis; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chuck Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Little See Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to help offset funeral expenses.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Ellis and his family.
