Ryan Adkins, 24, of Fort Gay, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

Ryan was born December 19, 1998 in Huntington, WV to Vent Adkins and Frankie Waller. Ryan was preceded in death by grandparents Franklin P. Waller, Shirley Johnson, Joseph Adkins and Ethel Adkins; and sister Shawna Moore.

Ryan was a loving child, sibling and friend to all. Ryan enjoyed music and makeup.

Ryan is survived by father Vent (Sherry Moore) Adkins; mother Frankie (Randy Pack) Waller; siblings Kelly (Emery) Thompson, Henry (Shanda) Adkins, Jodi (Matt) Rearden, Keisha (Brad) Huff, Michael (Layla) Adkins, Aaron (Ashley) Pack, Morgan Pack, McKayla (Robert) Adkins, Randy Pack, Jr., and Raelyn Pack; brother in law Stephen Spence; nieces and nephews T.J., Levi, Chase, Caleb, Kendall, Jaden, Alex, Alexis, Draven, Laney, Gage, Maddox, Braxon, Dominic, Roselyn, and Alli; special aunts Linda Johnson and Mortisha Pack; bonus dad Stephen Phillips; and beloved cat Laz and dog Teega.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Church of God in Christ Jesus Church with Pastor Joseph Johnson and Brother Craig Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of God in Christ Jesus Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Church of God in Christ Jesus until time of service on Tuesday.

Young Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Ryan and the Adkins families.
