Martin County Grand Jury met for the month of February and issued a total of five indictments.
Commonwealth vs. Lara Giacomoni
The Grand Jury charges that on or about September 9, 2022 in Martin Co., Ky the above named defendant:
1. Lara Giacomoni acting alone or in complicity with James A. Moore committed the offense of burglary in the second degree by knowingly and unlawfully entering the dwelling house of Breezy Jude of Lovely, Ky with the intent therein to commit the crime of theft.
2. Lara Giacomoni having been charged in the instant indictment with the above stated felony count is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree.
1. Kody Endicott committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.
1. Shawn Fitch committed the offense of receiving stolen property under $10,000 by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of approximately 250 feet of BHAA Aerial Cable containing GPS trackers stolen from AT&T with an approximate value exceeding $1,000.
1. Joshua Scott committed the offense of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a controlled substance, Suboxone.
2. Joshua Scott committed the offense of possession/drug paraphernalia by knowingly and unlawfully being in possession of a syringe.
