COACH’S COMMENTS

“… What a great weekend for our girls. We told them when we met at 8:30 on Saturday morning to watch film on Anderson County that they had all the excuses in the world to not go to Louisville and win. We played a tough district game, was out late and had a long drive to Louisville to play Anderson County. But we also told them it would be a great opportunity for us to prove what we could do. We definitely had the worst shooting day we’ve had all year from 3. We were horrible, 1-19 from beyond the arc and still was able to gut out a win against the 9th ranked team in the state at the time. It was a great win for our girls. I’m extremely proud of them.”

“… We also picked up a huge district win not playing our best on Friday night. Very proud of our girls effort and mentality to do whatever it takes to win the ball game.”
