Homer Robert “Bob” Hale, age 60, of Louisa, KY passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.

Homer was born January 6, 1963 in Louisa, KY to the late Douglas Hale, Sr. and Sena (Bowens) Hale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Douglas Hale, Jr., Eddie Hale, and Eunice Mayo.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving wife Margaret Hale; children Homer Hale, Jr., Michael Hale (Briana), and Elizabeth Hale; sister Melissa Boggs (Curt); grandchildren Hunter Hale, Alexis Hale, Thomas Hale, Austin Hale, Tyler Hale, Madilynn Gruwell, Colten Gruwell, Timothy Adkins, Clara Wells, and Alexis Barker; sister’s-in-law Paula Waller and Janie York; brother-in-law Joseph Dheel; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He also leaves behind a host of special friends to mourn his passing.

Homer was coal truck driver. He was also a Mason with membership at the Apperson Lodge #195 in Louisa, KY.

Friends may visit the family in the Young Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM with Brother John Mayo officiating. As were his wishes, Mr. Hale will be cremated following his funeral ceremony.

Arrangements for Mr. Homer “Bob” Hale are under the direction of Young Funeral Home.
