COACH’S COMMENTS

“… Probably our worst performance of the season. We let the officials get to us including me. They were bad but that isn’t the reason we lost. Wayne has a good team and Coach Sean Meddings does a good job with them. They really get after you and play hard for him. We had  our chances in the first half to extend the lead but couldn’t.”

“… It was a great atmosphere for high school basketball. Thought our side was jammed packed and I’m thankful for our fans who traveled to supports us. We just didn’t play to our potential and that is disappointing for sure.”

“… Played pretty decent against Hannan on Friday night but let off the gas in the second half and probably shouldn’t have. We have to play at full speed all of the time and I didn’t think we did that in the second half versus Hannan.”

“… It doesn’t get any easier for us with trips to Naugatuck and Prestonsburg before Christmas and Huntington St. Joe coming to Rebel Arena on the 27th. If you can’t get up for Tug Valley and be ready to play you don’t have a pulse.”
