U must not have school aged children then or you would be ok with it!

When I went to school here we didn’t get the entire week off. We got Thanksgiving day and Friday off. I’ve HAD school aged kids in recent years. It blew my mind how much time they got off in comparison to when I was in school. We got 2 weeks for Christmas and New Years and a week for spring break and that was it.

It’s amazing that, even before COVID, sickness always seems to strike this school just in time to give the Thanksgiving week off.

Teachers 50-60 grand a year. Lots of time off. Why not stay off until the new year? The kids are so smart these days. Hell just close down and go online all year !
